Green

Colors in the Green family can range from Emerald, Moss and Lime.  They come in a wide variety of hues and tones and can also be warm or cold by nature.  Green is a very versatile color that represents relaxation, self-control, growth, harmony and freedom.  Green works strongly with our emotional energies and emotional body so that we feel safe, secure and confident.  Green helps to bring in luck, growth, fortune, prosperity and abundance too.

Green is probably the single most color found within nature too.  It is conveyed in leaves, grasses, stems and fields.  It represents life, change and inter-connection with all things.  Being strongly represented within nature, it brings a fresh, clean, energizing energy to all things.  Symbolically, Green is associated with unconditional love, acceptance, harmony, forgiveness, understanding, transformation, sharing, healing and devotion.

Since Green is a blending of Blue and Yellow, the range is limitless on tones.  Blue is connected with emotions and calmness while yellow represents positive disposition.  Together, the variety of greens found represents sensitivity, affection, practicality and mindfulness. 

Greens offer a sense of togetherness or shared connection.  It invites us to open our hearts to experience relationships with faith and acceptance while giving energies of strength and positive goals.  Green gives it’s energies without fear – take it or leave it – while encouraging participation with it’s gentle nature.

Green helps to anchor in physical realities (like putting down roots).  It also helps to encourage lessons and growth in the spiritual sense.  Green allows one to better accept their individuality as well.  Green is all about hope, faith, trust and belief as well and this provides a better connection to all other things.  Green encourages getting things done and recognizing that everything has a cycle of energy to work with (beginning, middle, end) and this recognition of cycles helps to accomplish goals.
